Peppered and After Digital Merge to Elevate the Global Arts, Culture & Entertainment Sector

Glasgow meets Rotterdam - the established arts and culture technology provider Peppered and strategic digital agency After Digital are excited to announce their merger. The union of these two companies builds on their global reach, establishing a premium player uniquely positioned to service those in the arts, culture and entertainment industries.

Peppered has been working in the arts sector for over two decades, providing website builder tools to over 75 users in Europe, including the Dutch National Opera & Ballet, Het Nationale Theater and Antwerp Symphony Orchestra.

After Digital specialises in strategic design, development and marketing services for the arts and culture sector, having also developed its own ticketing integration platform Skyway, which is currently used by organisations such as the Southbank Centre, The Old Vic, Honolulu Museum of Art and the Zoological Society of Milwaukee.

The merger combines the strengths of both companies, as Peppered gains a complementary  layer of service in strategy, user-centred design and digital marketing adding value to their portfolio, while After Digital will leverage the power of  Peppered's high-end SaaS software to provide organisations with a class-leading solution to address their technical needs and deliver audience reach and development.

"We are thrilled to join forces with After Digital and combine our platform with their bespoke strategic thinking, design and marketing solutions" expressed Peppered founder Coen van der Poll. "After working together on key accounts in the Benelux region, like Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and de Doelen in Rotterdam, it became evident that After Digital can unlock new possibilities for our platform and explore new horizons. This combination is the best out there, offering strategy, design, and intelligence."

“The traditional web design and build model is broken," said After Digital MD, David Johnstone.  “After years of witnessing organisations invest in building new websites but then not being able to continue to invest in them over time, it was obvious to me that the tools Peppered brings are a game changer. This partnership helps us really push forward in the product space, combining decades of experience with arts and cultural organisations to provide a truly future-focused digital solution, responding to organisations’ and audiences’ evolving needs.”

The merger will create a leading global provider that offers arts organisations a comprehensive website and marketing solution, covering everything from strategy to execution. Enabling theatres, venues, and arts companies to showcase their work and encourage more people, from around the world, to enjoy art on a daily basis.
